The sun was out and many people enjoyed their commute a little more than usual this morning, with a sunny and beautiful Bike to Work Day 2012.
Yesterday’s registration numbers showed that this would be the biggest Bike to Work event ever in the Washington DC region. (Bike to Work Day was started way back in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists.)
I had a great ride from Silver Spring to Rosslyn. These photos were what I was able to snap when not pitching in to help give away prizes from BikeArlington.
