Free registration is now open here.

Open data gives us the power to better understand the world we live in. But how do we turn that data into a useful tool? Mobility Hack Day aims to turn mobility-related data into useful content. Our focus will be on visualizing data in the Washington D.C. region.

Use this day to demonstrate your own projects, learn how to do cool stuff, and share you knowledge with your community. Use this day to meet other people who are passionate about data, transportation, and hacking.

Mobility Lab
1501 Wilson Blvd, Suite 1100
Arlington, Virginia
2 blocks up Wilson from the Rossyln Metro
Register here.

Participants include myself, Michael Schade, a Mobility Lab contributor. Others will be on hand to discuss their visualizations and offer insights about the most effective tools to bring open data sets to visual life.

Bring your laptop and start building your own visualizations during this informative, hands-on program. To create animations, you might want to install Processing in advance.

Afterwards, Mobility Lab will post the visualizations on our web site.

Read about our most recent Hack Day last November. Mobility Lab has also been a sponsor of Transportation Camp.
