TransportationCamp is growing each year and increasingly being viewed as a can’t-miss event for transportation professionals.
That said, there are still people that Shin-pei Tsay of New York-based TransitCenter says “we still need to bring to the table.”
“I think there’s a lot of opportunity if you can turn the industry on its head and think about the end user and the consumer versus working at it from the people who are the operators and the providers. I think we should be more strategic about how much information we provide.
“What I would love to see more of here are transit agencies and people who are in the field and in the silos and maybe even advocacy organizations. I know this doesn’t deal with their day-to-day political battles, but this contextualizes what they’re doing – and they’re really great communicators.”
