This year’s list of “Best Workplaces for Commuters” is released – Center for Urban Transportation Research

January 31, 2018

Each year, CUTR, at the University of South Florida in Tampa, releases its list of Best Workplaces for Commuters. The list includes companies like Google, Intuit, IBM, LinkedIn, Bayer US, and Salesforce.

“To qualify, employers must provide employees with access to commuter-friendly programs, such as discounted transit passes, telework, secure bicycle storage, and emergency ride home programs,” said the program’s manager Julie Bond. “Not only are these employers changing how America commutes, they know that it makes good business sense to provide commuter programs to employees.”

In addition, CUTR offers up some excellent case studies of employers that have notable transportation demand management programs.
